TERMS & CONDITIONS

i. Our products are hand crafted and, as such, some inherent variation and imperfection will always exist. This is an expression of the art of crafting furniture and is recognized as adding to the individual character of every piece of furniture we make. All dimensions are approximate and may vary.

 

ii. All prices are FOB our facility in Toronto. Transportation fees are not included and are the responsibility of the dealer.

 

iii. Our shipping department handles carriers on a first-come-first-served basis.

We endeavor to reduce wait times for drivers to a minimum. We are however, not responsible for any fees associated with wait times incurred.

 

iv. When picking up, it is the responsibility of the transportation company to ensure that the merchandise is in good condition. Any damage sustained, after the merchandise has been handed over to the transportation company, will not be the responsibility of Direct Upholstery Ltd.

 

v. Dealers are encouraged to inspect merchandise received as any damaged or defective merchandise received by the end user will not be the responsibility of Direct Upholstery Ltd.

 

vi. Merchandise cannot be returned to Direct Upholstery Ltd without written authorization from our offices.

 

vii. Direct Upholstery Ltd reserves the right to repair or replace any merchandise found to be defective while under warranty.

 

viii. Discounts and allowances of any kind are not to be deducted from an invoice without written authorization from Direct Upholstery Ltd.

 

ix. As per federal legislation, all merchandise released by Direct Upholstery Ltd remains the property of Direct Upholstery Ltd until paid in full.

 

x. There are no cancellations once an order has been put into production.

Dealers must review their order confirmations and report any corrections or changes to customer service, immediately, to avoid any additional fees.

 

xi. Any returns authorized by Direct Upholstery Ltd, that are not due to defect or error, will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

 

xii. Should a dealer wish to view an item before it is packaged, they should inform customer service in advance. Please note that we can only accommodate a period of a few days for a product to be viewed.

 

xiii. In the event that a dealer would like to see an item once it has been packed, a $50 repackaging fee will be charged to prepare and protect the item for transport.
